CBD delivery methods: what’s right for you?

Tinctures
Tinctures are by far the most popular method to intake CBD today. Often mixed with another carrier oil to promote absorption. It is recommended to keep the oil under the tongue for at least 30 seconds to allow the sublingual gland to go to work before swallowing. Being versatile, the oil can be added to food or drink if preferred by the user. Tinctures may have added flavor to make the experience more delightful, however CBD Isolate tinctures carry very little flavor as is. (See our Tinctures here)
Edibles
CBD edibles are any kind of food, drinks, candies, or gummies that are infused with CBD and ingested. This option is excellent for people that may be picky about taste and want a sweet or flavorful option with specific dosing per serving. They have become increasingly popular as of recently and more options will seemingly continue to roll out. (See our gummies here)
Capsules
CBD capsules are also becoming a popular method. If you are someone that has a daily regimen of vitamins these are perfect to fit right in. Being tasteless this may be the easiest solution for ingestion for those who don’t prefer to taste anything while consuming CBD. They have accurate portioning, that can help you know how much you’re taking and therefore allow you to test out how much CBD is right for you. (See our CBD Multivitamin here)
Topicals
It is no surprise that CBD creams, balms and salves are becoming hugely popular. These products come in several different strengths for topical application to the skin. Topical CBD allows for precise targeting of problem areas on the body. These may have additional ingredients such as Manuka Honey (see our Shea Butter here) to help relieve skin conditions.
Conclusion
It may be trial and error to figure out what method is best for you, for this reason companies may give out samples at local retailers. Depending on what the CBD is needed for will vary which method you should be using. At Better Off Healthy we carry a bulky product line, so most methods are available at our store. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out and we will help you with your CBD needs.
